Do you love what we do? This is an invitation to become a Bestie. Wild Waikawa is expanding and we'd love your help. We've had such a big visitor demand, particularly young people, we've purchased next door. Providing more accommodation, environment youth activities and a bigger wilderness buffer zone. It's a big cost. We're reaching out to our closest crew. Our goal is to inspire 50 Wild Waikawa Besties to close the financial gap. We are extraordinarily grateful to all who work, encourage and inspire us on this journey.

The AT220 is a self-setting, auto-luring, multi-species trap. At Wild Waikawa, these automated traps control rats, possums and other pests with minimal human intervention, and are the most effective trap on the market outperforming other traps 30:1 (except Ash, our conservation dog) who is 150:1. NB: This trap in the photo was gifted by Untouched World Foundation and received by Mariah 2025 NMIT Trainee Ranger.
