The AT22015 is a self-setting, auto-luring, multi-species kill trap. Here at Wild Waikawa, we use these traps to control rats, possums and other pests with minimal human intervention.
Wasp Control - Wasp Lure
Wasps are a major problem in the Beech forests where they can consume a massive amount of honey dew, an important food for native birds, bats, insects and lizards. This donation helps control wasp numbers.
Wild Waikawa is committed to supporting young people into conservation. This donation gives young people opportunities for hands-on conservation work in a mentored environment.

Help Fund Steep Riparian Margin Plantings August 2024
Over 22-30 August Wild Waikawa hosts up to 6 volunteers onsite to plant along steep banks within 100m of Waikawa Stream future-proofing awa shade.
Your financial contribution will provide food (@ $1200) and plant protectors ($1500) totalling @ $2700.
Nige & Mish will contribute plants ($2500) & time (9 days). We'll manage, heartwarming welcome, safety, planting site, equipment, accommodation & 3 hearty meals.
